About
Dylan Reinsel founded Schoolhouse & Statecraft to develop a long-term framework for public schools and the republic they serve.

Teaching History and Civics
Dylan Reinsel is a history teacher, public school advocate, and the founder of Schoolhouse & Statecraft. He has spent his career in history and civics education, helping students understand the stories and constitutional frameworks that shape public life.
His classroom experience shapes how he approaches education policy. His work is rooted in institutional health and community responsibility. He looks at the health of public institutions, the responsibilities communities share, and the practical effects of policy decisions. He brings historical research and a practical policy perspective to that work, with the goal of bringing people together around stronger public schools.
Why He Founded Schoolhouse & Statecraft
Dylan founded Schoolhouse & Statecraft to look past short political cycles and take a longer view of public education. He believes the schoolhouse and the statehouse are permanently connected. His work addresses institutional health, freedom of conscience, support for educators, and the role public schools play in helping individuals flourish and sustaining a healthy republic.
